“Hard to tell exactly what this is”
We live in a world where photography has been expanded to terrains we didn't expect and it has modified the way we're related to the rest of the world, not only because of our mobile gadgets or the hyper-connectivity for instance but because the image is still our way of understanding ourselves.
“Hard to tell exactly what this is” its an approach to the essence of the image, from the emulsion to the code, from the allure to the pixel [back and forward]; analogue and digital photographs, screen shots, HDD glitches and synthetic images making by GAN (This automobile does not exist by James Pak and This city does not exist by Ron Hagensieker and Tomas Langer); complete a visual essay. Images have shaped my memories, but now everything its blurry and I try to recall those interactions.
